Dreamcatchers
One of my favorite art projects recently was one I did for the gals at Paint Mojo Texas. It was a labor of love for sure. I made 20 little wire dreamcatchers to give to them during the retreat. I chose dreamcatchers because I wanted something that reflected the word Mojo. And dreamcatchers, a few days before Halloween, did just that.
I worked on an extra one today that is going out in the mail to a friend who I originally met on the blog I had before Creativity Tribe. She has been an integral part of this dream for me, supporting, encouraging, sharing her wisdom and creativity. She is one of the tribe’s wise women. I hope she enjoys it.
These little webs are close to my heart. I would love to continue making and sharing them as I build the web that will catch my big, beautiful dreams.
This last dreamcatcher is also my offering for today’s Art Every Day Month Challenge. I have been doing a bit of art each day but have chosen to hold onto a few items for special projects. Girl’s gotta have her secrets!
Art Every Day Month is a movement, inspiring artist around the blogosphere! Head over and see what they are up to today! Then, consider joining us. It is a small act that makes a big different. Creativity…….. engage!

These are simply ADORABLE. I tried making a few several years ago with wire, but my efforts were far less successful than yours. Tese are lovely and made great art gifts.

They are all so pretty. Love the flow of them and the colours.

I love your sweet dream catchers. I’m sure as you are winding the wire around and around, you are weaving your dreams into each one. What a delightful project. I feel inspired to make one.

Oh, wow, these are remarkably sweet. I want to hold one in my hand and bring it close to my eyes. :~)
Fantastic!!
And happy art every day month…. and thanks for the flickr comment. I am making more pendants as the month goes on. Just got a new shipment of supplies and it took all I had in me not to dive right in. Be watching my flickr and blog for more!!
