    Blogging at the Speed of Life

    Sitting in front of the computer, I don’t know where to start.  Blogging has been the most dedicated practice I have ever had in my life and the last 6 months Life pushed me off my game so I could pay attention to it.  This Summer I got sick and discovered I had uterine cancer.  It took awhile for me to get the surgery that was recommended.  But Life has its way of moving you into what is important.     Running Buffalo Journeys: Spiritual Adventures

    Sometimes at night as I am drifting off to sleep, I follow my imagination to Guatemala.  The space around me becomes green with plant life, alive with the sounds of monkeys and children laughing, in my hand waits a steamy cup of pure, ancient-sourced cacao.  Somehow I feel at-home in that dream even though I have never been to Guatemala. I know part of that comfort comes from the connections I have with friends who have made Guatemala their home and the stories they tell of their adventures, both physical and spiritual.  Someday I will join them there.  In the meantime, I am planning and dreaming.     April is going to be a gloriously wild ride.  I am jumping in my Ford Element and traveling up Middle America from Texas to Wisconsin and back again.
