    The moment I discovered art cards, I was in LOVE!  They were small enough to finish in one setting, great for art-on-the-go, and somehow, somehow…… the small canvas could hold big parts of my heart!  I’ve been making these little beauties for a decade now, and in the last few months, I started a creative practice that speaks to me both creatively and spiritually.     The last month has been RICH with creative experience. First an art retreat. Paint Mojo Texas with Tracy Verdugo Then, I jumped into Art Every Day Month and began pumping out art for myself, my friends, and two art shows that I finished this weekend.     Paint Mojo {Lotus Pond}

    I have been sitting with my Paint Mojo Texas experience, letting myself gently make my way into a fuller understanding of the process and what it means to me.  One part of the weekend keeps standing out and is ready to be shared. The second morning we were at Paint Mojo Texas, Tracy Verdugo, our teacher, took a walk out on the dirt roads of The Lotus Ranch.  After lunch, she asked us to join her for an excursion.  We blindly followed her, as we had all weekend, but instead of trustingly delving into the landscape of our imaginations through paint and brush, we made our way to a lotus pond.…
