Over the last several months, like others, I have been soaking in the stress of the world. It didn’t take long for me to realize that living from a place of stress wasn’t much of a way to live. It was time to turn it around. So, I decided I would do myself and the world a gift by upping my level of self-care. The actions I took really made a difference in my stress experience. It didn’t change the world but did change my reaction to it.

I also found I had more to give. I showed up to life in a more open way. Instead of putting up an invisible but energetically tangible wall around situations that might ping my stress, I felt more centered and available. I could give more support to others and had more to give to my own creative projects. I even found myself raising my voice for change without needing to be overwhelmed by the stress that can come with transformation.
Feeling the benefits of self-care for myself, I knew I wanted to share the highlights with you. Self-care is both a calming and strengthening force for those interested in living the Creative Life.
